Although the CL220 and CL110 look similar, the CL110 is slightly different in comparison. The CL220 uses a flexible, black hose to connect the tank to the filter system. Over time, these lines become fragile and will need to be replaced.
Step 1
Tools you will need: Strong pair of scissors or cutting device, Chlorinator tubing
Step 2
The first thing you will need to remove is the tiny compression nut located at the end of each line.
Step 3
Turn them counter-clockwise to loosen the nut. Be careful when doing this as the nuts can break or strip out.
Step 4
Once the nuts are loose, you can remove both feed and return lines from the chlorinator.
Step 5
Next, measure the length of the lines before cutting them. Cutting the lines is not required if you are satisfied with your current length. It is very important that you cut the lines straight or they will leak.
Step 6
Once your lines have been cut, slip on the lock down nut and screw them on to the saddle fittings you removed them from. Make sure to hold the line in all the way as you are tightening them down to ensure you seal it properly.
