Things You’ll Need
Step 1
VOLUTE - Look at the volute. If it looks like the one in the corresponding image for this step, you have the 2011-Current version. Click Here to View the Parts for the PB4-60 2011-Current Parts
If the volute does not look like the corresponding image, you have a 1994-2011 or Pre 1994 model. Proceed to Step 2.
Step 2
MOTOR FRAME - Look for the frame number (FR) on the motor label. If it says 56C (S56C), it is a keyed shaft motor. Those motors were only used on the Pre 1994 models. Click Here to View the Parts for the PB4-60 Pre 1994 Parts
If the frame says 56CZ (N56CZ), you either have the 1994-2011 model or the motor has been replaced on the Pre 1994 model. Proceed to Step 3.
Step 3
HOSE - The first version of the Polaris PB4-60 used, what looked like, black garden hoses. Starting in 1994 they switched to a white hose with quick disconnect fittings. If you have a 56CZ motor frame and white hoses, you have the 1994-2011 version. Click Here to View the Parts for the PB4-60 1994-2011 Parts
